You will need to complete the Residential Block Party Checklist and Application if your Block Party will be hosted:
- On a Street.
- In an Alley.
- At a Park.
No application is needed if you are hosting your block party in a backyard, home, or garage.
STEP 1: Review the Block Party Checklist
The Block Party Checklist will help you plan your event! We suggest starting this at least a month before your Block Party.
STEP 2: Submit your Application
Submit the following to the City Clerk:
- Block Party Request Form
- Copy of the Block Party Committee Sheet
- Copy of Block Party Map
- Please indicate where you would like Porto-Potty dropped.
STEP 3: Confirmation from City Staff
When your application is complete, the City of Edgewater will provide the following:
- Insurance through the City.
- One Porto-potty/Portable Toilet.
- Barricades for street closure.
- Event & Application Fee waived.
