The City of Edgewater Municipal Code requires that every retailer shall use the municipal sales and use tax reporting form prepared by the City of Edgewater Finance Director. Edgewater is a home rule city. A home rule city administers its own city sales tax.

Please send a copy of your sales tax return, along with your payment for city sales and use taxes to:

Please do not send your state, county or special district payments or returns to the City of Edgewater. They should be remitted to the State of Colorado.

The City of Edgewater will no longer accept returns for any sales after 12/31/2023. 

2023 Edgewater Sales Tax Returns  
(Edgewater Sales tax collected from January 1, 2023 - December 31, 2023)  
Submit 2023 directly to The City of Edgewater by January 20, 2024. 
 
2024 Edgewater Sales Tax Returns  
(Edgewater Sales tax collected from January 1, 2024 - December 31, 2024)  
2024 Edgewater Sales Tax Returns are to be submitted with 2024 State Returns starting January 1, 2024.
